Hazelnut variety "Silver" — this is a fruit tree bred in the Kharkiv Research Institute of Agro-land Reclamation and introduced in 1967. A vigorous shrub, it reaches a height of 4.5–5 meters with a pyramidal, moderately dense crown. Branches are compactly arranged, emerging from the trunk at a sharp angle, with grayish bark. Leaves are large, elongated-oval in shape, with a smooth upper surface and slightly hairy underside. Flowering occurs in February–March; female flowers are clustered in inflorescences of 6–8 flowers with bright burgundy stigmas, while male flowers form spikes up to 10 cm long.
