Description Pink Cloud
Gypsophila 'Pink Cloud' is an undemanding annual plant reaching 40–50 cm in height, delighting the eye with large double flower heads 0.5 to 1 cm in diameter throughout July and August. The flowers start white, then transition to a pale pink shade, creating the effect of a delicate cloud in the flower bed.

The bush has a spherical shape with thin stems and a powerful root system, which makes the plant drought-resistant and capable of rooting quickly. It requires sunny lighting and alkaline soil (pH 7.0–7.5) with good drainage; excess moisture is not tolerated. Planting is done to a depth of about one centimeter, and after seedlings appear, they are thinned out, leaving the strongest plants. When a pair of true leaf plates appears, the seedlings are transplanted and planted in open ground with a distance of about one meter.

Gypsophila is widely used in landscape design: it fills gaps between garden crops, is suitable for mixed borders, rabatok, alpine hills, and rockeries. Due to its cold resistance (zone 3–9, frost down to –28 °C), the plant does not require winter covering. In floristry, gypsophila is valued as a dried flower: the flowers retain their shape and brightness for a long time, which makes them ideal for bouquets, including wedding ones.
