Medium-maturing variety, obtained at the Central Siberian Botanical Garden through open pollination in 1939 from the 'Hauton' variety pollinated by European varieties. Breeders: V.N. Vasil'eva, A.B. Gorbov, T.I. Snakina, I.I. Shitakov. Registered in the State Register of Selection Achievements since 1994, approved for use in the Western, East Siberian, and Far Eastern regions.
Medium-height, medium-spreading, medium-density bush with medium branching and downward-angled branches. Growing shoots are medium-thick, curved, yellow-green, without hairs. Woody shoots are medium-thick, 3-6 mm, yellow-brown-gray, without hairs. Thorns are weakly developed, medium-sized, 5-10 mm long, occasionally longer up to 12 mm, thin, straight, directed perpendicularly or upward, mostly single, rarely 2-lobed, very rarely 3-lobed, matte, light-colored, distributed on 3/4 of the shoot length, with no thornlets. Buds are single, elongated, small in size, pointed apex, brown color, without hairs, deviated from the shoot. Terminal bud is free. Leaf scar shape is rounded.
Leaf is five-lobed, medium-sized, green, shiny, slightly hairy on both upper and lower surfaces, smooth surface. Leaf blade is leathery, slightly concave along the central vein, medium-sized, pointed teeth. Main vein coloration absent. Central lobe is inverted-conical, apex 2-lobed, weakly pointed, 1.5 times longer than lateral lobes, with 2 small additional protrusions, lateral edges of the lobe are cut straight to the base. Lateral lobes are 1.2-1.5 cm long and 1 cm wide, inverted-conical, blunt, directed sideways, acute angle between veins. Basal lobes are poorly developed, their veins are spread out. Leaf base is broadly heart-shaped, occasionally cut, indentation depth 2-3 mm, width 8-9 mm, weak closure of indentation. Depth of notch between central and basal lobes is medium, notch width is narrow, notch shape is acute. Basal lobes are poorly developed. Angle between leaf blade base and petiole is from acute to obtuse. Petiole notch shape is rounded. Leaf petiole length is 2-3 cm, thickness 1-1.5 mm, sparse hairs at petiole base, light green color, petiole positioned on the shoot at 30° angle.
Flowers are medium-sized, 8-9 mm long and 4-5 mm wide, wide-bowl-shaped with lobes deviated at acute angles. Sepals are greenish-white, free. Fruit stalk hairs absent. Inflorescence axis is medium, 1 mm thick, without hairs.
Berries are small to medium-sized, weighing 2-4 g, oval, burgundy, thin-skinned, tart-sweet, aromatic, scored 4.0-4.3 points, dry detachment, universal use. Seeds are small, moderate quantity. Receptacle is medium, non-detaching, closed. Pedicel is medium, 3-7 mm long, without hairs. Chemical composition: dry matter - 16.4%, sugar total - 11%, titratable acidity - 2.1%, ascorbic acid - 29.2 mg/100 g, P-active substances - 240 mg/100 g, pectins - 0.6%.
High-yielding variety, average yield 6.3 t/ha (2.8 kg/plant), weak self-fertile, winter-hardy, drought-sensitive, resistant to powdery mildew, anthracnose, rust, weakly affected by septoria.
Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness and yield, regular fruiting, resistance to diseases and pests, weak thorniness of shoots, good taste and non-shedding berries.
Disadvantages of the variety: berries are not large enough, thin, hanging and rooting shoot tips, low drought resistance.
