Arietta

ARIETTA is a high-yielding early-maturing white mustard (Sinapis alba L.) intended for growing seeds, green mass, and cover crops. The vegetative period is 74–81 days, and plant height reaches 102 cm, with lower branches attaching at a height of about 22 cm.

Seed yield ranges from 6.2 to 12.1 c/ha, while green mass yield varies from 108 to 203 c/ha. Oil content is between 37–41%, with stable erucic acid content around 39.75%. The mass of 1000 seeds is 5.6 g.

The variety is highly resistant to lodging (5 points) and moderately resistant to shattering and drought (4 points). It is weakly affected by powdery mildew (0–5%) and has low susceptibility to cruciferous stem rot and Alternaria (0–10%). Resistance to cruciferous flower weevil is above average, with damage levels of 11–25%. These characteristics make ARIETTA a suitable choice for a wide range of growing regions.
