Systemic post-emergence herbicide with broad spectrum of action for the destruction of thistles and other difficult-to-eradicate broadleaf weeds.
Formulation: aqueous solution
Active ingredient: cloquinate, 300 g/l
Packaging: 5 L and 1 L cans.
Mode of action:
The active ingredient of the herbicide is characterized by high selectivity and is used worldwide on sugar beet, cereal crops without intercropping of perennial leguminous forages, rapeseed, corn, cabbage, flax, onion and strawberry.
Zefer 300 completely clears fields of thistles along with roots, destroys species of dandelion and mustard, blue violet, leguminous weeds, nightshade weeds. The preparation easily penetrates the leaves of weeds and, moving through the vascular system, concentrates in growth points, blocking metabolic processes in young cells. It is recommended to apply the preparation during the most sensitive phase of weed development to the active substance (thistles — active growth, rosette development phase — beginning of stem growth).
Hazard class: 3.
Shelf life: 3 years from the date of manufacture in sealed factory packaging.
Storage temperature: from +1°C to +35°C.
Advantages of use:
excellent effect on thistles, as well as on species of dandelion and mustard, clears fields of root weeds for several years;
high selectivity, ensuring safety for agricultural crops;
synergistic enhancement of action in tank mixes with other fungicides, insecticides and herbicides;
does not stimulate the formation of resistant forms in populations of sensitive ruderal species;
does not create problems for subsequent crops in crop rotation.
Application specifics:
Optimal temperatures for application — from +10°C to +25°C. Rainfall within 2 hours after application does not reduce the herbicidal effect of the preparation;
apply in morning (6-10) and evening (17-21) hours with wind speed up to 6 m/s;
prepared working solution should be used within one day of preparation. Freshly prepared working solution should not be left undisturbed for a long time to avoid separation;
recommended application rate — 300-400 L/ha. When applying high doses, it is not recommended to sow leguminous crops the following year;
visible signs of action appear within 2-3 days, complete weed death occurs within 10-15 days;
at low application rates, Zefer 300 should be applied separately, not in tank mixes;
it is not recommended to apply the preparation when weeds are under stress.
