Soil herbicide with broad spectrum of action for protecting crops
of agricultural crops from annual grasses and some broadleaf weeds.
Active ingredient. Metolachlor, 960 g/l.
Formulation. Emulsifiable concentrate.
Chemical group. Chloracetamides.
Compatibility. Can be mixed with other soil herbicides approved for the respective crops, however, compatibility must be checked in each specific case.
Mode of action. The herbicide's mode of action involves blocking the division process of growth cells, which leads to suppression of weed development and growth in early stages.
Spectrum of activity. Sensitive: proso (various species), bristlegrass (various species), flatleaf dock, horizontal dock, annual ryegrass, starwort, field mustard, common chickweed, Galinsoga parviflora. Moderately sensitive: chickweed (various species), common goosegrass, garden purslane, gumay (sorghum algerianum).
Maximum number of applications — 1. Pre-harvest interval is not established.
Rate of working solution. 300 — 400 l/ha. Before use, thoroughly mix DATONIT GOLD in the container. Working solution is prepared immediately before spraying. Application technology with pre-sowing incorporation: incorporate DATONIT GOLD into the soil and till to a depth of 3 — 5 cm using a tillage machine, which significantly enhances herbicide effectiveness. Apply DATONIT GOLD before or after sowing, but prior to emergence of crop and weed seedlings. The depth and feasibility of incorporation of the working solution should be adjusted according to the sowing depth of the crop plants.
Proper pre-sowing soil preparation, presence of soil moisture, and incorporation of the product into the soil (if necessary) — essential conditions for achieving maximum results. Spraying should be conducted within a temperature range of +10 to +24 °C. The most effective method is incorporation prior to sowing.
Toxicity. WHO classification: Class III (low toxicity). Mechanized and manual operations are not recommended.
• Provides extremely reliable protection for sugar beet seedlings during early growth and development against the most common weeds;
• promotes effective crop management during vegetation and increases yield;
• improves growth and development of crop plants, with no phytotoxic effects;
• application of soil herbicide reduces the number of mechanical soil treatments, conserves soil moisture and structure of the fertile layer;
• saves scarce spring time and resources.
Packaging. 5 L.
