Description Agritox
Selective systemic herbicide for controlling broadleaf weeds in cereal crops (including barley with clover intercrop), flax, potato, pea, and other crops.

Advantages
Approved for use on a wide range of agricultural crops. Effective against the most common and harmful weeds: annual broadleaf and perennial dicotyledonous weeds.

Highly effective component of tank mixes.

Formulation
Water-soluble concentrate containing 590 g/l mixture of sodium, potassium, and dimethylamino salts of MCPA acid (equivalent to 500 g/l pure MCPA acid).

Mode of action
Systemic herbicide. Agritox® is absorbed by leaves and affects both above-ground organs and root systems of weeds. The product inhibits synthesis of growth substances and enzymes, suppresses photosynthesis and respiration processes.

Speed of action
First signs of herbicide action — wilting, drying, and curling of susceptible weeds — appear within 3-7 days, while death occurs 2-3 weeks after application of Agritox®, depending on prevailing weather conditions. The fastest herbicidal effect is achieved when applied at early stages of development of annual broadleaf weeds and during rosette stage of perennial dicotyledonous weeds, as well as under favorable growth conditions — optimal humidity and temperature. In dry weather, herbicide activity may be reduced, as absorption of active ingredient into the plant slows due to overall decrease in assimilate translocation from leaves.

Phytotoxicity
Cereals show high resistance to the product during recommended growth stages (from tillering to stem elongation), and yield increases significantly after treatment. When applied at maximum recommended rates on some crops (flax, pea, potato), minor negative effects may occur in the first days after application. For example, on flax, this may manifest as slight reduction in plant height and minor deterioration in flax stalk quality. To reduce application rates, it is recommended to use Agritox® in mixtures with other herbicides.
