ZHY1016OX Sweet Corn is a new SH2 type hybrid developed by Snowy River from Australia for cultivation during the main summer season. The vegetative period of this hybrid is 73 days, allowing harvest within relatively short timeframes. The plant features a strong root system and, under intensive cultivation, can form two full cobs per plant.

ZHY1016OX cobs reach up to 24 cm in length and have a diameter of about 5.5 cm, with 18 to 20 rows of kernels. The kernels are rich yellow, with kernel depth ranging from 11 to 14 mm, ensuring their density and juiciness. This corn belongs to the super-sweet type with high sugar content — around 13% — making it exceptionally tasty and aromatic. When boiled, the kernels become even more vibrant, enhancing the product’s visual appeal.

The hybrid is resistant to rust, viral, and fungal diseases, improving harvest reliability. ZHY1016OX sweet corn is suitable for fresh market use, as well as for processing, canning, and freezing. Seeds are available in packages of 1000, 5000, and 100,000 units, allowing selection of optimal volume for various cultivation scales.
