Cucumber Udarnik

Cucumber 'Beater' is a mid-season hybrid characterized by high yield and excellent fruit quality. The plant forms small, weakly branched bushes, each node producing 2-3 green fruits of spindle shape, about 12 cm long and weighing 75-85 g. The fruit skin is covered with small bumps and white fuzz, while the flesh has a crisp texture and slightly sweet taste with a small amount of small seeds. The fruits are colored in a deep green and are suitable for general consumption. The 'Beater' hybrid belongs to parthenocarpic varieties with female flowering, ensuring abundant fruit set without pollination. The plant is resistant to sharp temperature fluctuations, prolonged cold, and heat, as well as shows good resistance to diseases and pests. Thanks to these qualities, the cucumber grows well both in stationary greenhouses and in open beds, making it suitable for cultivation in risky agricultural zones. Despite some data on variations in characteristics, overall 'Beater' demonstrates stable fruiting and high-quality harvest. The fruits have excellent taste qualities and are suitable for both fresh consumption and pickling. This hybrid is a reliable choice for gardeners aiming to obtain a good cucumber harvest with minimal care.
