SYNTHESIS

Cucumber variety Synthesis is an early-maturing salad type that begins fruiting on day 28-37 after full emergence of seedlings. Plants are medium-height with a medium-length main stem and dark green, pentagonal, undivided leaves of medium size. The fruits have an elongated-oval shape with a smooth base and large, often closely spaced bumps. Fruit length ranges from 11.4 to 12.8 cm, with a weight of about 110 g. Flavor quality is high: fresh fruits are rated 4.1-4.8 points, salted fruits score 4.7 points.

Synthesis variety is characterized by high market yield, varying from 201 to 423 centners per hectare, which exceeds standard varieties Muromskiy 36 and Universal by 52-115 centners. The maximum yield recorded in the Omsk region reaches 514 centners per hectare. Fruit marketability is 80-91%, making this variety especially attractive for commercial cultivation. Plants have dense, complex white pubescence and are resistant to bacterial diseases, powdery mildew, and false powdery mildew.

The variety is recommended for cultivation in open ground in various regions, including Western Siberia, Eastern Siberia, and Volga-Vyatka. Due to partial parthenocarpy and bee-pollination, Synthesis ensures stable fruiting. Fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and preservation, making the variety universal and popular among vegetable growers.
