Developed by Syngenta Seeds from the Netherlands and included in the State Register in 2014, this variety is characterized by high yield—up to 20 kg per square meter—and excellent marketability—around 95.6%. The fruits have a warty surface, cylindrical shape with a pointed tip, and are colored from green to dark green. The average weight of one cucumber is approximately 93 grams, with a fruit length-to-diameter ratio of about 3:1, making them convenient for consumption and processing.
A distinctive feature of the Priva hybrid is its high content of dry matter (4.7%) and total sugar (2.2%), which ensures a pleasant taste and high sensory evaluation—5 points. This variety is free of bitter fruits, enhancing its appeal to consumers. Thanks to its excellent transportability (up to 98%), the cucumbers retain freshness and market appearance during long-distance transportation.
Moreover, Priva exhibits resistance to several common cucumber diseases, including cucumber mosaic virus, brown spot, and powdery mildew.
