Cucumber variety Orchestra is a mid-early hybrid intended for cultivation in spring greenhouses. The plant is indeterminate type with predominantly female flowering, contributing to high yield. Leaf blade is medium length, green or dark green. Fruits are elongated-cylindrical, 10-12 cm long, dark green with smooth surface covered by white spines. Fruit weight reaches approximately 95-197 g, depending on growing conditions. Flavor is excellent, free of bitterness, with dense and juicy flesh. The hybrid features high yield and stable fruiting even under stress conditions. Vegetative period is 45-48 days, allowing harvest from May to October. Orchestra tolerates crowding well and has a compact bush with cluster fruiting. Commercial yield in polycarbonate greenhouses reaches 19.7 kg per square meter, making this variety attractive for commercial cultivation. Special attention has been paid to disease resistance. Orchestra exhibits high resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic, and other viral diseases, significantly reducing the need for treatments and improving crop quality. The hybrid is developed by Syngenta Crop Protection AG, ensuring high quality and reliability of the variety.
