Description MAL ZOLOTNIK
Cucumber variety MAL ZOLOTNIK® is a very early parthenocarpic hybrid with predominantly female flowering, ensuring stable and high fruiting. The plant is medium-branched and indeterminate, allowing it to actively grow and produce yields under various climatic conditions. This variety is highly resistant to cucumber mosaic virus, as well as to true and false powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of diseases and crop losses.

The fruits of the MAL ZOLOTNIK cucumber have a cylindrical shape with a finely ribbed surface and a deep green color. The average fruit weight is 80-95 grams, length — 9-11 cm, and a white downy covering gives them a distinctive appearance. The cucumbers are crisp and free of bitterness, both fresh and after pickling or canning, making them versatile for various consumption methods.

This variety is suitable for cultivation on medium loamy, well-aerated soils. Seeds can be sown directly into the ground or used for seedlings. When growing seedlings, seeds are sown at a depth of 0.5-1 cm at a temperature of 25 °C, then the temperature is reduced to 15 °C after germination. Seedlings are transplanted into the ground after the threat of frost has passed. Direct sowing into the ground is done in soil warmed to 15-18 °C, at a depth of 1-2 cm, followed by covering with plastic film. Plant care includes weeding, loosening, watering with warm water after sunset, and 2-3 applications of complex mineral fertilizers to ensure full nutrition. Harvesting is done as the cucumbers ripen, allowing for fresh and high-quality fruits throughout the season.
