LUKICH

LUKICH is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid cucumber of Polish selection, intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant is indeterminate, climbing, and moderately branched with a female flower type, ensuring stable and prolonged fruiting. The hybrid is characterized by high early maturity: the first fruits can be harvested as early as 42-60 days after germination, making it especially attractive for regions with short growing seasons and insufficient light.

LUKICH fruits have a cylindrical shape with pronounced warts and white spines. Medium-length zucchini — about 9-10 cm, weighing up to 100 g — are convenient for whole-fruit canning and fresh consumption. The fruit surface is covered with fine hairs and medium stripes, and their structure ensures excellent taste qualities. The hybrid is resistant to major viral diseases, including powdery mildew and downy mildew of cucurbits, and is not prone to yellowing, significantly simplifying care and improving crop quality.

LUKICH is characterized by high yield and is adapted to cultivation in northern regions due to its cold tolerance and ability to fruit under insufficient light. Marketable yield in open ground reaches 2.2 kg per square meter. This hybrid is ideal for both salad use and canning in small jars, making it a versatile choice for gardeners and farmers.
