Description Gravina F1
Gravina F1 is an early maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid, suitable for cultivation both outdoors and in protected ground, including plastic and glass greenhouses. The plant has a medium vegetative type with good lateral branch development, ensuring rapid vegetative mass recovery after stressful conditions such as high temperature and water deficit. The hybrid exhibits strong growth, regenerative ability, and positively responds to improved nutrition, contributing to stable and high yields.

Gravina F1 fruits are large, dense, and light, with a small seed cavity and dark green coloration without yellowing or longitudinal stripes. Their length-to-thickness ratio remains 3.2:1 even with overgrowth. The cucumbers have excellent taste qualities — crisp and free of bitterness, making them ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and salting. The plant forms one fruit per node, and occasionally 2-3 cucumbers, ensuring even yield.

The hybrid shows high resistance to major cucumber diseases, including downy mildew, true powdery mildew, and viral diseases such as fire and cucumber mosaic, as well as moderate resistance to downy mildew (false powdery mildew). With proper agronomy, yields can reach up to 20 kg per square meter. Due to its characteristics, Gravina F1 is ideal for early plantings and second crop, providing stable and high-quality yields even under challenging cultivation conditions.
