Cucumber variety Capital is an early-maturing salad hybrid with smooth, green fruits 15-17 cm long, featuring dense, juicy flesh and delicate thin skin. This parthenocarpic hybrid does not require pollination, ensuring stable fruit set in clusters of 2-4 fruits. The plant is recommended for cultivation in open ground as well as in plastic covers, expanding its cultivation potential. The maturation period is approximately 50-55 days from sowing, and harvesting can begin when fruits reach optimal length.

Hybrid Capital exhibits high resistance to powdery mildew and root rot, significantly reducing disease risks and enhancing yield. The plant is vigorous with predominantly female flowering, fruiting both on the main vine and on secondary branches. The cucumbers are free of bitterness, making them especially attractive for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and pickling. Fruit production is prolonged and can last over 60 days, ensuring a steady and extended harvest.

For successful cultivation, sowing should be done in seedlings at the beginning of May, followed by transplanting into open ground when the seedlings have two to three true leaves, in late May to early June. Direct sowing into greenhouses is also possible during this period. The optimal soil temperature for germination is 25-30 °C. Recommended planting scheme — 40x40 cm, providing sufficient space for plant development and maximum productivity.
