Cucumber Matador

The cucumber MATADOR is an early-maturing salad parthenocarpic hybrid, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under cover. The maturation period is 45-60 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The fruits have an elongated-cylindrical shape, smooth surface, and dark green color. Their weight ranges from 150 to 300 grams, with a length of 20-50 cm. A distinctive feature of this variety is its genetic resistance to bitterness, thin skin, and nearly complete absence of seeds, making the cucumbers exceptionally tasty and pleasant for fresh consumption. The MATADOR hybrid is characterized by high productivity, reaching up to 15 kg per square meter, as well as consistent fruiting. In open ground, it is recommended to grow cucumbers on a trellis for ease of care and harvest. The variety shows resistance to adverse environmental conditions, ensuring stable fruiting even under variable weather. Thanks to these qualities, MATADOR is an excellent choice for gardeners aiming to obtain high-quality and tasty cucumber harvests. The fruits of the MATADOR cucumber have excellent flavor and are suitable for fresh consumption, in salads, and other dishes. The thin skin and absence of bitterness make them particularly attractive to consumers. The hybrid tolerates transportation and storage well, allowing it to maintain its appearance and taste until sale. Thus, MATADOR combines high productivity, resistance to stress, and outstanding taste characteristics, making it a versatile and popular cucumber variety.
