The herbicide Astral is a selective agent for post-emergence protection of corn from annual and perennial grass weeds. The main active ingredient of the preparation isnicosulfuron, which effectively slows down cell division in weeds and stops their growth, providing reliable control of unwanted vegetation in fields.
Application of the herbicide is recommended during the corn growth phase from 3 to 7 leaves, allowing maximum effectiveness against weeds without harming the crop. The dosage of the preparation varies depending on the type of weeds: 1 liter per hectare for annual grasses and broadleaf weeds, and for perennial grasses — from 1.25 to 1.5 liters per hectare.
Astral is available in the form of oil dispersion, ensuring ease of application and uniform distribution over the plant surface. For optimal results, the preparation should be applied at air temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius and wind speeds not exceeding 4-5 meters per second.
