Maize Jenny

Genetic Potential and Agronomic Characteristics

The «Jenny» maize hybrid by «RVA Ukraina» is a high-performance sugar corn variety specifically engineered for the fresh produce market. By focusing on a short 70–75 day vegetation cycle, this hybrid enables growers to secure an early market entry, which is essential for capturing premium prices and managing seasonal crop risks.

Technical Specifications of Productivity

• Maturity Class: The 70–75 day window is optimized for rapid crop turnover, allowing for efficient land use and scheduling.
• Kernel Type: Classified as sugar corn, the variety prioritizes high sugar content and moisture retention, ensuring consumer appeal and shelf-life quality.
• Utility: Specifically bred for fresh consumption, ensuring uniform ear development and consistent sizing for retail requirements.

From an agrotechnical standpoint, «Jenny» demonstrates excellent plasticity, responding well to standard intensive cultivation practices. The hybrid's architectural design favors the allocation of nutrients directly to ear development rather than excessive biomass production, leading to a higher ear-to-stalk ratio. Implementing this hybrid from «RVA Ukraina» allows farm managers to maintain a predictable harvesting schedule, facilitating logistics and market distribution in the highly competitive early-season segment.
