QUICKSTEP Maize: Focus on Marketability and Processing

Selecting a hybrid today is as much about marketability as it is about yield. QUICKSTEP, introduced by Limagrain Europe and registered in Ukraine in 2026, is engineered for growers who prioritize grain quality, uniformity, and processing efficiency.

End-Use and Commercial Value

The primary advantage of this hybrid lies in its suitability for the processing industry. The grain features exceptional uniformity and high test weight, making it a premium raw material for flour and grits production. The dense endosperm structure ensures minimal breakage during mechanical harvesting and cleaning processes.

• Transportability: The robust grain coat ensures that the product maintains its integrity during long-distance shipping, which is essential for export markets.
• Storage: Quick maturity and resistance to field pathogens ensure that the grain remains stable and high-quality during long-term elevator storage.
• Processing: An optimal starch-to-protein ratio ensures a high yield of finished products, meeting the strict requirements of food processors.

QUICKSTEP is the ideal choice for farms aiming for the premium market, where buyers demand consistent calibration, purity, and superior storage stability.
