PDA 14 FF is a grain corn hybrid (Zea mays L.) designed for cultivation in regions with a short growing season. It belongs to the paternal line and is characterized by very strong anthocyanic coloration of the first leaf sheath, which is a distinctive feature of this variety. The leaf is narrow and straight, with a small angle between the blade and stem, and the leaf tip is rounded. The flowering time of the ear varies from early to medium, allowing the hybrid to successfully adapt to different climatic conditions. PDA 14 FF has a siliceous type of kernel with characteristic coloring: the upper part of the kernel is yellow-orange, and the lower part is orange. The ear density is medium, and the anthocyanic coloration of the ear stalk is absent, which affects the appearance and quality of the harvest. The maturity period of the hybrid falls within the very early and early range, making it especially valuable for regions with short summers and limited time for harvest. The hybrid was registered and included in the State Register of the Russian Federation in 2024, confirming its adaptability and efficiency for cultivation in the Murmansk region, Republic of Karelia, Republic of Komi, and other northern regions. PDA 14 FF was developed by LIMAGRAIN EUROPE, which guarantees high seed quality and stable yield. This hybrid is suitable for feed production, providing high nutritional value and resistance to adverse climatic conditions.
