LAN 1517 is a corn sheller designed for effectively removing kernels from corn cobs. It can be used both at home and on small farms, significantly simplifying and speeding up the corn processing process. The device allows obtaining kernels for immediate use as well as seed corn, which is especially important for those engaged in corn cultivation.
The LAN 1517 model is available in two versions: manual and electric. The manual sheller features a cast iron body and wooden handle, ensuring durability and ease of use. It is mounted on the edge of a table or stand, and the operator manually turns the handle, driving a disc with metal spikes that separate kernels from cobs. The manual version’s productivity reaches about 100 kg per hour. The electric version is equipped with an electric motor, greatly simplifying the process: cobs are fed through the body’s opening, and kernels are discharged through a special outlet. The electric corn sheller can process up to 75 kg of corn per hour.
The electric model’s operating principle involves sequentially removing kernels from the ends of the cob and then from its center, allowing for high-quality seed corn. The device is easy to use and suitable for processing corn in private homesteads, ensuring high productivity and reliability.
