KWS EMPORIO — medium-early simple hybrid of sweet corn, intended for grain and silage production. This hybrid belongs to the EnergyBOOST family and is characterized by high yield on various soil types. It is a silage source with high energy concentration, making it valuable for compound feed and biogas production. Hybrid registration year — 2024.

KWS EMPORIO plants are highly remontant, robust, and well-branched, contributing to high productivity. The hybrid exhibits cold tolerance and intensive growth type. Plant height ranges from 270 to 350 cm, ear attachment height is approximately 100-110 cm. Kernel type is silvery-ridged, number of rows varies from 14 to 16, and kernels per row range from 30 to 37. 1000 kernel weight is within 320-340 g.

Recommended plant density depends on moisture zone: in adequately moist zones — 80-95 thousand plants per hectare, in insufficiently moist zones — 65-70 thousand per hectare. Seeding rate for silage is 95-105 thousand/ha, for grain — 80-95 thousand/ha. Grain yield potential reaches 14 t/ha, maximum yield at 14% moisture may be up to 13.9 t/ha, and maximum dry matter harvest — 26.1 t/ha.
