Maize Kr9698

Focus on Dent Corn for Consistent Grain Yields

Selecting the Kr9698 hybrid is a strategic move for farms focused on commercial grain production. Developed by a team of researchers from the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, including experts from the Institute of Irrigated Agriculture, this hybrid combines rigorous scientific selection with proven field performance. Its dent kernel structure is a key feature, making it a preferred choice for producers who prioritize high-volume yields and efficient harvesting.

Practical Applications in Modern Farming

• Commercial Grain Production. The primary value of Kr9698 lies in its ability to consistently deliver high grain yields. It is well-suited for agricultural enterprises looking to supply both domestic feed processors and the export market.
• Adaptation to Intensive Farming. Given its development background, the hybrid shows excellent responsiveness to optimized soil nutrition and moisture management. It is highly recommended for operations with irrigation infrastructure or those located in regions with reliable precipitation patterns during critical growth stages.
• Efficient Post-Harvest Processing. The dent-type grain structure naturally facilitates faster moisture loss at maturity. This helps minimize drying costs at elevator facilities, directly improving the bottom-line profitability per hectare.

As a product of domestic research, backed by the patent protection of the National Research Center "Institute of Agriculture of the NAAS," Kr9698 offers a reliable balance of cost and performance. For the agronomist, it serves as a dependable tool for managing harvest risks while maintaining the high-yield potential required by modern competitive farming in Ukraine.
