Description GLORY MV
GLORY MV — medium-early three-row hybrid corn (Zea mays L.), intended for silage use. The plant is tall, reaching up to 3 meters in height, with a strong and robust structure. Leaves are medium-sized, ears are long, thick, slightly conical, and have medium-length stalks. The kernels are toothed, yellow-white, high-lipid, which enhances their nutritional value. The hybrid exhibits rapid growth in early vegetation and matures in 90-95 days, corresponding to FAO 270. The average yield of dry matter is about 154.3 c/ha, with an average dry matter content of 34.4%. This ensures high productivity and quality silage. The hybrid is resistant to cracking, which helps preserve the yield and improves its commercial qualities. Treated seeds (fluclit) are supplied in 25 kg bags, facilitating sowing and increasing germination. GLORY MV is also valued for its excellent taste and versatility. In addition to silage use, the kernels are suitable for direct consumption, salad preparation, and all types of preservation. The fruits are smooth, dense, oval-shaped, weighing 100-130 g, with high transportability and storability, making the hybrid attractive to farmers and processors.
