Maize F 31

F 31 — this is an early-maturing corn hybrid, distinguished by high yield and excellent taste qualities. Plants are medium-height, reaching 160 to 190 centimeters, forming strong and balanced stalks with wide leaves. Ears are large, cylindrical, 20 to 24 centimeters long and up to 6 centimeters in diameter, with 14 to 22 rows of kernels. Kernels are characterized by uniform shape, tender texture, and sweet taste, making this hybrid ideal for fresh consumption and various processing methods, including canning and freezing. The vegetation period is approximately 69–75 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The hybrid is resistant to a range of diseases, such as rust, smut, and bacterial rot, ensuring stable yields even under extreme growing conditions. For optimal germination, seeds should be sown at soil temperatures not lower than 10°C, at a depth of 4–5 centimeters, with a planting rate of about 50,000 plants per hectare and a spacing of 75x25 centimeters. F 31 has an attractive market appearance and high-quality product characteristics. Ears are uniform in shape and size, and kernels may have a two-toned color ranging from light yellow to orange. Due to its properties, this hybrid is widely used in home cooking and industrial processing, providing high-quality products for freezing, canning, and fresh consumption.
