Maize ES Ikar

Genetic Architecture and Yield Potential

The «ES Ikar» hybrid, developed by NVF Elita-Select, is a simple hybrid corn variety specifically optimized for high-yield grain production. The key technical advantage of this hybrid lies in its dent (zubovydnyi) grain type. This physiological trait is essential for modern farming as it ensures both high starch density and excellent moisture release dynamics during the pre-harvest phase, allowing for more efficient harvesting and reduced post-harvest drying costs.

Agronomic Design and Efficiency

By utilizing a simple hybrid structure, «ES Ikar» provides consistent crop uniformity, which is critical for standardized agronomic management across large fields. The focus of this development is the effective conversion of soil nutrients and minerals into grain mass. The dent grain structure facilitates rapid moisture loss at the end of the vegetation period, a vital feature for producers looking to optimize their logistics and energy expenses.

• Hybrid type: Simple.
• Grain type: Dent (Zubovydnyi).
• Primary use: Grain production.

The practical value of «ES Ikar» lies in its performance stability. The hybrid is engineered to maintain yield potential even under fluctuating climatic conditions common in the region. Strong vegetative growth, combined with efficient ear development, ensures that the hybrid delivers consistent results, making it a reliable choice for intensive farming systems that prioritize high-quality grain output per hectare.
