Maize ES 4568

French Breeding for High Yields

The EC 4568 hybrid from Lidea represents the high standards of European agricultural technology. Developed by the originator Av Du Capitaine N Tchorere in France, this hybrid was designed for farmers focused on grain production with predictable and stable performance. The use of dent-flint grain type allows it to combine the best of both worlds: high germination energy and excellent dry-down capacity, which is crucial for the profitability of grain production.

Agronomic Reliability

One of the key features of EC 4568 is its marked resistance to a complex of diseases that pose the greatest threat to corn crops. In intensive farming, the risk of pathogen infection is always high, but this hybrid effectively resists:

• Head smut;
• Fusarium ear rot;
• Common smut.

Such genetic protection minimizes crop losses and reduces the need for additional fungicide treatments, positively impacting production costs.

Market Positioning

EC 4568 confidently occupies a niche as a high-yielding grain hybrid within the Lidea portfolio. Its demand is driven not only by its French origin, which builds trust among farmers, but also by its practical performance in the field. It has found application both in farms focused on the export market and in companies specializing in deep grain processing. Thanks to the combination of phytosanitary stability and high genetic potential, this hybrid remains an essential tool for those seeking to minimize risks when growing corn for grain.
