Maize DKC3939

Stability and Performance for Professional Growers

The Monsanto DKC3939 hybrid is engineered for producers who demand predictability and consistent yield potential under varied field conditions. With an FAO rating of 390, this hybrid is perfectly positioned for mid-to-late season planting, offering an excellent synergy between vegetative growth and final grain quality.

Key Agronomic Traits

The dent-type grain structure is a hallmark of this hybrid, facilitating superior moisture dry-down rates at harvest time. This feature is a game-changer for farm logistics, significantly reducing drying costs and allowing for earlier entry into the field. Furthermore, DKC3939 is recognized for its robust resistance to common corn smut, ensuring the crop remains healthy throughout the growing season.

Field Application and Management

• Fertility Response: As a simple hybrid, DKC3939 showcases excellent vigor and demonstrates a high return on investment when managed under intensive nitrogen programs.
• Harvest Optimization: The rapid moisture loss profile allows for flexible harvesting windows, helping farms manage their machinery capacity effectively.
• Adaptability: Designed for performance across a variety of soil textures, it provides growers with a reliable option that holds up well against common field diseases.

By incorporating DKC3939 into the rotation, growers can effectively manage phytosanitary risks while maintaining a high standard of grain output, making it a staple in modern maize production.
