Corsar 315 SV

Corsar 315 SV — a mid-season hybrid of sweet corn, distinguished by high productivity and stability. It features good plasticity and high cold resistance, enabling successful cultivation under various climatic conditions. The hybrid is recommended for different cultivation technologies, including conventional, minimal tillage, and No-Till, as well as suitable for monoculture. Additionally, Corsar 315 SV can be used for silage production.

The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to lodging, drought, and diseases such as helminthosporosis and fusarium, ensuring stable and high yields. FAO is 310, with kernels having high starch content (over 72%). The average 1000-kernel weight ranges from 300 to 380 grams, and the number of kernels per row ranges from 36 to 43. The plant reaches a height of 230–250 cm, with ears 20–22 cm long and 4.0–4.5 cm in diameter, containing 14–18 rows of kernels and 530–690 kernels per ear.

Recommended planting density depends on the moisture level of the cultivation zone: 60–65 thousand plants per hectare in adequately moist zones and 70–75 thousand plants per hectare in moisture-deficient zones. Ear attachment height is 100–110 cm, and the plant type is remontant with semi-vertical leaf arrangement. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe, and forest zones, making it a versatile choice for various agroclimatic conditions.
