Maize AI O 1884

Consistency and versatility in the field

When you are planning a crop rotation, you need a hybrid that won't let you down—whether you are selling grain to a storage facility or filling a silage pit. The Syngenta AIO 1884 corn hybrid is exactly the kind of reliable tool that farmers choose when they need a two-way result.

Field performance and maintenance

In practice, this hybrid acts as a predictable partner. For an operator, a major advantage is the plant's high resistance to lodging. This is critical during harvest time: even if weather conditions are less than ideal, the combine passes cleanly, minimizing grain loss. The crop is not demanding in terms of maintenance; standard agrotechnical procedures can be followed without the need for complex, niche fertilization schedules.

Dual-purpose: Grain and Feed

The main strength of AIO 1884 lies in its usage flexibility. If grain prices are down, the harvest goes straight to fodder; the silage quality provides excellent nutritional values, which immediately reflects in cattle health. If the market for food-grade corn is lucrative, the grain is perfectly suited for the food industry. For a farm, this means minimizing the risk of depending on a single sales channel.

Why agronomists choose this hybrid:

• High adaptability to various soil types, which simplifies planning across different fields.
• Optimal vegetative mass development, ensuring excellent silage yields.
• Stress tolerance that allows the crop to maintain its potential even with inconsistent precipitation.

Working with Syngenta AIO 1884 provides no nasty surprises. It is verified Swiss-level quality that ensures you will have the expected volume of production at the end of the season, rather than just empty marketing promises.
