Lace

Lace is a variety of endive that features a bright red head and dense, juicy leaves. The plant has a vertical rosette about 35 cm high and approximately 32 cm in diameter, making it convenient for growing outdoors in spring, summer, and autumn.

The medium-sized leaves are yellow-green with characteristic incisions. The leaf core is elliptical in shape, and the surface is covered with a pale yellowish-green hue, giving the salad an attractive appearance. Due to its dense structure and good juiciness, the leaves retain freshness even on hot summer days.

Lace is widely used in fresh form for preparing salads, as well as a side dish or ingredient for various dishes. The mass of one marketable plant is about 120 g, and the yield reaches approximately 1.7 kg per square meter, making it a cost-effective choice for gardeners and vegetable growers.
