KARIMA

Chrysanthemum KARIMA is a Korean variety featuring a compact, medium-foliaged bush with a height of approximately 57 cm and a diameter up to 52 cm. The plant has green, smooth leaves and a sturdy stem that ensures stability of the inflorescences. The inflorescences are of a medium-density pyramidal shape, semi-double, with a diameter of about 8 cm; each stem carries an average of 28 heads, and the third-year plant can produce up to 195 heads. The ray florets are light pink and do not fade in the sun, while the tubular disc florets are light green. The flowers have a moderate aroma, making them pleasant to perceive.

The vegetative period until flowering begins is about 77 days, and the decorative period lasts for 88 days, from July until the end of October. The variety is characterized by resistance to adverse weather conditions, diseases, and pests, as well as moderate heat and drought resistance and hardiness. The flowers do not drop off, allowing one to enjoy their beauty in the garden or on a flowerbed for a long time.

Chrysanthemum KARIMA is undemanding in care and prefers sunny locations with sufficient soil moisture. It attracts beneficial insects and butterflies, contributing to garden biodiversity. Due to its high decorative qualities and resistance, this variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in pots, adorning balconies, verandas, and window sills from June to October.
