Chrysanthemum BASHKIROCHKA

Technical Profile of the 'Bashkirochka' Chrysanthemum

Developed by the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, this hybrid is a product of targeted selection designed for specific climatic adaptability. 'Bashkirochka' is categorized as a medium-height ornamental plant with a predicted vegetation cycle of 60 to 90 days from planting to bloom.

Morphology and Flowering Dynamics

A critical specification for professional horticulture is the flower diameter, which ranges from 5 to 10 cm. The plant develops a medium-branched bush reaching 30–60 cm in height, making it suitable for both border landscaping and decorative group planting. The color profile features a distinct transition between yellow and pink tones. Blooming occurs from September through October, lasting over 40 days, which makes this hybrid a strategic choice for extending seasonal garden aesthetics.

Agrotechnical Requirements

• Light Exposure: The cultivar requires open, fully sunny locations. Deficient solar radiation leads to leggy stem elongation and diminished pigment saturation.
• Temperature Tolerance: The hybrid exhibits moderate frost resistance, necessitating winter protection in regions with harsh climates to ensure root system viability.
• Growth Schedule: The calculated development period (60–90 days) allows for precise scheduling of planting to achieve peak ornamental impact within the autumn window.

The 'Bashkirochka' hybrid achieves an optimal balance between plant compactness and inflorescence size, removing the need for external growth regulators and ensuring robust, natural development suitable for sustainable garden management.
