Picalina

Picalina F1 — new hybrid of Chinese cabbage developed by Solare Sementi. This variety is characterized by compact plant size with well-developed root system and upright leaves, ensuring good air circulation and healthy crop. Cabbage heads have cylindrical shape, attractive green color and very dense structure. The inner part of the head is light-colored and has high density, contributing to excellent taste qualities: leaves are juicy and crunchy.

Vegetation period is approximately 65-70 days from transplanting seedlings into the ground. Average weight of one head at 22-24 cm spacing between plants is 1.2-1.5 kg, and with increased row spacing to 27-30 cm, weight can reach 2.0 kg. The hybrid is characterized by early maturity, absence of bolting and high tolerance to bacterial diseases, significantly enhancing crop resilience and quality.
