Cabbage Mediouma

Next-Generation Dutch Breeding

The "Mediuma" hybrid is the result of years of development by the Rijk Zwaan breeding center, introduced to the market in 2025. This hybrid was engineered to meet the rigorous demands of intensive farming, where predictable yields and resilience to environmental stress are paramount.

Origin and Status

Developed in the Netherlands, this F1 hybrid embodies the pinnacle of European agricultural science. Its official state registration in Ukraine in 2025 provides local producers with access to genetic potential previously reserved for closed trials. The rights to this breeding achievement are held by Rijk Zwaan Zaadteelt en Zaadhandel B.V., a company whose reputation in the vegetable sector guarantees line purity and adherence to specified performance metrics.

Market Positioning

"Mediuma" occupies a niche for high-tech hybrids designed for professional vegetable production. Unlike traditional varieties, this F1 hybrid exhibits exceptional head uniformity and high adaptability to the climatic conditions of various Ukrainian regions. Its 2025 debut marks a shift toward stricter quality standards, ensuring that every hectare delivers a consistent, reliable result regardless of seasonal weather fluctuations.
