Cabbage Lednitska

A reliable broccoli variety for both fresh market and processing

The «Lednytska» variety from Pryvatne male pidpryiemstvo «Tyras» is a selective breeding product focused on farmers who need a balance between high commercial quality and a predictable maturity cycle. With a 60–70 day maturity period from transplanting, this variety fits perfectly into a continuous production schedule, ensuring consistent harvests throughout the growing season.

Key Agronomic Characteristics

The primary advantage of «Lednytska» is the formation of a dense, dome-shaped head with a rich, dark green color. The marketable head weight ranges from 1.0 to 1.5 kg, which is considered the industry standard for retail chains and wholesale buyers. This size ensures easy packaging and minimizes loss during logistics.

• Planting density: The recommended density is 25,000–30,000 plants per hectare. Maintaining this spacing is crucial for achieving uniform head size and consistent quality across the field.
• Usage: This is a versatile variety. The compact structure of the florets makes it ideal not only for fresh market sales but also for industrial deep-freezing, as the product retains its shape and color after defrosting.

Developed by original breeder Volodymyr Tyshkovskyi, «Lednytska» is a proven solution for farms that prioritize reliability. Due to its adaptation to the Ukrainian climate, this variety shows excellent resilience and provides clear, predictable harvesting windows. With proper management, growers can achieve high marketability rates, minimizing the percentage of waste during the head development stage.
