Broccoli Vicario F1 is an early hybrid that forms a harvest within 65-70 days after transplanting. The plant is characterized by high growth energy and a strong root system, ensuring good establishment and resistance to stress factors. This hybrid is recommended for open-ground cultivation during spring-summer and is suitable for all regions of Ukraine, including hot climates.
The plant is upright with sufficient protective leaves, which helps shield the flower heads and prevents damage. The flower heads are dome-shaped, dark green, dense, and heavy, weighing approximately 450-500 grams. They have an attractive appearance, do not overgrow or darken in field conditions, maintaining their aesthetic appeal during transport and marketing. The flavor of the flower heads is delicate, and their structure remains intact even after thermal processing, making this hybrid suitable for fresh markets, culinary use, and freezing.
The Vicario hybrid is characterized by high adaptability and heat tolerance, easily adjusting to changing growing conditions without losing productivity. It does not tend to flower prematurely, bolt, or have leaves growing through the flower heads, which is an important advantage when grown under stressful conditions. The recommended planting rate is 40-50 thousand plants per hectare, ensuring optimal density and maximum yield.
