Wild cabbage LEGAT F1

Fast-track your harvest with Clause genetics

For growers focusing on the early-season fresh produce market, LEGAT F1 from Clause has become a reliable asset. This white cabbage hybrid is engineered for an ultra-fast turnaround, reaching maturity in just 40–50 days after transplanting. It is the go-to solution for farmers aiming to hit the market windows when supply is tight and prices are at their peak.

Field performance and marketability

The practical appeal of LEGAT F1 lies in its compact, consistent growth. Producing a round head weighing between 0.5 and 1.0 kg, it meets the exact requirements of modern retail chains and local markets that favor smaller, convenient sizes for household consumption.

• Market Appeal: The distinct dark green color makes the heads visually striking, ensuring rapid turnover in retail settings.
• Growth Precision: With a 40–50 day maturity cycle, the hybrid allows for precise scheduling of harvesting operations.
• End-use: Specifically bred for the fresh market, it offers the crisp texture and quality required for summer salads and immediate culinary use.

The success of LEGAT F1 in commercial production depends on intensive management. Because the plant has a very narrow window to build biomass, it requires consistent moisture and balanced nutritional support from the moment of planting. HM Clause has prioritized crop uniformity in this selection, which allows for efficient, bulk harvesting with minimal manual selection in the field. If you are aiming for a high-value, early harvest with uniform plant architecture, this hybrid is a top-tier choice for intensive cabbage production systems.
