Cabbage Calibro F1

A Reliable Choice for the Market: Calibro F1

Ukrainian breeding has long proven its capability in local climatic conditions, and the Calibro F1 white cabbage hybrid, created by the specialists at Private Small Enterprise "Tyras", is a prime example of adaptability. This hybrid was developed for those seeking a balance between a premium look for the fresh market and efficiency in industrial processing.

Agronomic Indicators and Performance

The maturation period for Calibro F1 is 80–90 days from seedling transplanting, placing it in the mid-season group. Its well-balanced characteristics ensure high crop marketability:

• Head: Features a neat, round-flat shape, making it convenient for transport and retail packaging.
• Weight: Averaging 2.0–3.0 kg, it hits the "golden standard" for grocery chains and retail markets.
• Planting Density: The recommended density is 40–50 thousand plants per hectare, allowing farmers to plan land use effectively and forecast yields.

Market Niche and Storage

The primary advantage of Calibro F1 is its versatility. The dense structure of the head makes it suitable for both fresh consumption and processing (such as pickling or fermenting). It is designed for medium-term storage (up to 2 months), making it an excellent tool for meeting autumn market demand swiftly.

Private Small Enterprise "Tyras" (with patent holder "Scientific-Production Firm Tyras") has focused not only on yield but also on resistance to field stresses characteristic of Ukraine's climate. This makes Calibro F1 a predictable and reliable choice for both large agricultural holdings and small farms focused on delivering high-quality produce with minimal risk.
