Baro Star

Broccoli Baro Star F1 is a hybrid developed by NongWoo Bio, distinguished by its short vegetation period of 65–70 days. Due to this growth period, Baro Star forms high-quality, uniform heads early in spring before the heat arrives, and also in autumn before the first frosts. This variety is cold-resistant and can withstand frost down to -5 °C, expanding its cultivation possibilities across various climatic conditions.

The heads of Baro Star broccoli have a medium size and weigh up to 1 kg, feature a gray-green color, and belong to the medium-grained type, making them attractive for sale and consumption. A distinctive feature of this hybrid is its ability to re-bloom after the main head is harvested. The plant forms lateral shoots, from which approximately six additional marketable flower heads weighing 400–500 g each can be harvested, significantly increasing the overall yield.

Baro Star F1 can be grown both in open ground and in greenhouses, making it a versatile hybrid for different conditions.
