Description BASILISK
Basilisk variety basil is an early-maturing plant with a period from germination to flowering of 60-70 days. Bushes are compact, 20-25 cm high, with a large number of small green leaves and stems possessing a characteristic pepper-clove aroma. This variety differs in medium height and high yield, which allows collecting fresh greens in the summer and storing them for winter.

Sowing seeds for seedlings is recommended in late March - early April, and transplanting seedlings into open ground - in early June, with the optimal planting scheme being 30x30 cm. Basil prefers well-structured, humus-rich soils and requires regular watering for full growth and development. The plant adapts well with proper care and is grown in open ground.

The Basilisk variety is widely used in cuisine thanks to its rich aroma and taste. Leaves and stems are used fresh as salad greens and a spice-flavoring additive, and also serve as a natural flavoring agent when canning and cooking various dishes. This basil will be an excellent choice for lovers of aromatic herbs and home-grown greens.
