The leaves are light green, elongated oval-shaped, hairless, and the inflorescences are pink, medium density, and single-flowered. Flowering lasts from 27 to 31 days, while decorativeness is maintained until late autumn, including the full seed maturity phase. Angelina is a stable amaranth hybrid that can be grown in open ground, under film coverings, or in greenhouses for early harvest. The plant is characterized by short internodes and light green fruits of a regular cylindrical shape. The hybrid is distinguished by stable and high yields, as well as a long fruiting period. Thanks to its resistance to viral diseases and powdery mildew, the need for frequent preventive treatments is reduced, making this variety ideal for fresh market cultivation. Amaranth in general is known for its beneficial properties and high nutrient content. It is a rich source of protein, fiber, vitamins A and C, as well as minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and iron.
