Tomato Volgogradsky 323 is an early salad variety of determinate type, widely grown in open ground and under temporary film coverings. The plant is compact, bushy, about 45-50 cm tall, with abundant fruit set — 5-6 fruits per flower cluster. Fruits are flat-round, red with slight ribbing, weighing 50-100 grams. They are fleshy, juicy, multi-chambered, covered with a dense skin, ensuring good storage. Harvest ripens uniformly within 90-110 days after sowing and exhibits high flavor qualities.

To obtain high-quality seedlings, tomato seeds are recommended to be pre-soaked in salt solution, followed by manganese treatment, then sown at a depth of about 1-3 cm into nutrient-rich soil. First sprouts appear within 5-8 days. Seedlings require regular feeding 2-3 times and hardening off 7-10 days before transplanting into the soil. Seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses in April-May, and into open ground in June, after the end of spring frosts, at the stage of 6-7 true leaves and presence of the first flower cluster. Recommended planting scheme is 30x50 cm.

Tomato Volgogradsky 323 is characterized by low maintenance, disease resistance and tolerance to stress conditions, making it suitable for various climatic conditions. The crop is warm- and light-loving, requires regular watering and feeding to achieve maximum yield. Harvested fruits are versatile: they can be consumed fresh, used in hot dishes, canned, and for production of tomato juices.
