If spring sowing is preferred, seeds must undergo cold stratification in a refrigerator at temperatures between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius for at least two to three months to break dormancy.
The seeds should be sown at a shallow depth of 1–2 centimeters in a loose, well-draining substrate rich in organic matter. Maintaining consistent moisture is crucial during the germination phase.
