Description ZOLOTOVOLINSKYY
Hypericum «Zolotodolinskiy» – a low-maintenance perennial growing up to 80–90 cm tall, which develops quickly and begins flowering already in the first year after sowing. The vegetative period from germination to the start of flowering lasts approximately 80–85 days, while the following year sees mass flowering from June to August. High yields of green mass reach 1.6 kg/m², making the plant valuable for both home use and small-scale commercial plantings.

For successful cultivation, seeds should be sown on the surface without covering, ensuring constant moisture until germination. It is important to choose sunny areas with soil pH 5.5–7.0; row spacing should be 20–25 cm, and spacing between suckers – 30–40 cm. If necessary, division of the clump can be carried out in early spring or autumn. Care includes loosening, weeding, and mulching with peat or manure, feeding twice per season (at the beginning of vegetation and during bud formation), and pruning after flowering.

Hypericum is known for its healing properties: antimicrobial and antiviral action, stimulation of tissue regeneration, improved venous blood circulation, and capillary strengthening. It is often used in folk medicine to heal wounds, relieve pain from sprains, dislocations, and burns, as well as a mild plant-based antidepressant. For maximum effectiveness, it is recommended to cut the upper parts of the stems with flowers at the beginning of flowering stage and dry the grass in a place protected from direct sunlight at a temperature not exceeding 40 °C.
