Nasturtium Antares (Tropaeolum majus L.) – a compact decorative plant with a height of 43–45 cm and a diameter of 33 cm, distinguished by bright crimson flowers with a diameter of 4.5 cm located on a central flowering stem measuring 12 cm. Flowering begins in the second decade of July and lasts for 55 days, providing an abundant and prolonged species effect.
Antares leaves are dark green-crimson and glossy, giving the plant an attractive appearance. In culinary use, young Antares leaves and flowers can be added to salads, sandwiches, and other dishes, adding aroma and nutritional value. As microgreens, the plant contains a high level of vitamins and minerals, making it a valuable food product. Thanks to its compact growth and decorative appeal, Antares is suitable for both gardening and farming, decorating areas and giving them a picturesque look.
