Winter variety, resistant to scab and powdery mildew. It enters fruiting early. Bears fruit very abundantly. Fruits are large, single-ribbed, round-conical, intensely red. Flesh is light-cream, dense, juicy, aromatic, with excellent sweet-tart flavor. Harvesting ripeness occurs at the end of September. Stored in refrigerator for 6 months, fruits do not wilt or lose flavor during storage. We offer Ligol variety saplings on strong, medium, and dwarf rootstocks.
