Watermelon KAPITAN

Stability and quality from Syngenta

The "Kapitan" watermelon from the Swiss agro-giant Syngenta is the choice of professional farmers who prioritize predictable results. In conditions of variable climate and high pathogen pressure, this hybrid demonstrates exceptional vitality, ensuring a marketable yield even under adverse environmental factors.

Agronomic advantages

The key feature of "Kapitan" is its powerful genetic protection. Syngenta's breeders have endowed this hybrid with resistance to Fusarium wilt, which is critical for harvesting on plots with a history of soil-borne infections. The variety also shows high tolerance to anthracnose, reducing the need for intensive fungicide applications.

Fruit characteristics

• Fruit weight: 9 to 12 kg, which is the optimal standard for sales through supermarket chains and wholesale markets.
• Flesh color: deep red, maintaining structure during transportation.
• Seeds: small-seeded type, highly valued by consumers for convenience.

"Kapitan" has established itself as a reliable tool for producing early-mid-season marketable crops. Thanks to the uniformity of the fruits in shape and size, as well as their dense rind, the variety perfectly withstands long-distance logistics without losing its flavor profile. Using original Syngenta seeds guarantees compliance with the declared characteristics and high germination energy, which is the key to uniform emergence and high economic efficiency of your watermelon production.
