Fasineyshen F1 watermelon is an early seedless hybrid of the Crimson Sweet type, developed by Syngenta Seeds. The maturation period ranges from 62 to 82 days depending on the growing method; approximately 62-64 days pass from seedling transplant to harvest. The plant features a strong, balanced bush with good growth energy, capable of forming three or more fruits simultaneously. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to use the seedling method and have a pollinator hybrid present.
Fasineyshen watermelon fruits have an oval or elongated-round shape, with an average weight ranging from 5 to 9 kg. The rind is smooth, of medium thickness, a rich green color with characteristic light green stripes and a waxy bloom that protects the berries from sunburn and insect damage. The flesh is bright red, firm, without cavities or fibers, very crisp and granular, and seedless. The taste is moderately sweet, with a high juice content and a delicate aroma.
Fasineyshen watermelon is distinguished by high resistance to diseases such as anthracnose and fusarium, as well as adaptability to growing conditions. The fruits ripen uniformly, separate easily from the vines, and withstand transportation and long-term storage well, maintaining their commercial appearance. Thanks to these qualities, the watermelon is excellent for fresh consumption, fruit slices, smoothies, fresh juices, as well as canning and processing into juices.
